What ‘Rear Window’ taught us about the future

Last night I was watching Alred Hitchcock’s Rear Window. Within five minutes I was already thinking, “Who are these friends and neighbours of James Stewart? Not only are they not aware of their privacy, they seem to relish sharing their most intimate moments with the world! This movie is ridiculous, that would never happen.”

Then I remembered…we have Facebook.
